We reply within one business day and keep the file private; if the request is outside our scope we say so instead of taking the job. If you are in the US, UK, Canada or Australia and your job is in English, we can quote it. For unusual file types, machines or materials, email first and we will confirm whether the job is in scope before you upload anything large.
A useful first message includes: the production method, finished size, target machine or material, the source file type and the deadline. If you do not know all of that yet, send what you have - we will ask only the questions that change the quote.
