Service
Prepressa prepares production files from artwork supplied by the client. The exact scope, output formats and checks are stated in the quote and delivery note. Anything not listed in the quote is out of scope.
Quotes and payment
Quotes are based on the file and production details supplied. If the file turns out to need more work, we will explain the change and ask for approval before proceeding. Payment terms are stated on the invoice. Work starts after approval.
Turnaround
Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours after quote approval, unless the quote says otherwise. Rush work is subject to capacity and is quoted separately. Turnaround does not include time spent waiting for missing files or client answers.
Client responsibilities
- You must have the right to share the file and to have it reproduced.
- Tell us the target production method, size, material or machine when it affects the output.
- Review the delivery note and confirm the file before sending it to production.
Intellectual property
You keep ownership of your artwork. We use it only to prepare the job. We do not publish customer files without written permission. We do not accept work that infringes trademarks, copyrights or other rights.
Rework and refunds
If a checked file fails because of a production issue within the checks listed in the delivery note, we will rework the file or refund that job. We need the printer's error note and the delivered file to review the failure. We are not responsible for failures caused by a different machine, material or workflow than the one confirmed in the quote.
Limitation
We provide file preparation, not a guarantee that every machine or operator will produce a perfect result. Our liability for a job is limited to the amount paid for that job, except where the law requires otherwise.
